Square One

Square One is Stillwaters’ yearly church camp. This year’s camp saw double attendance from last year! Promotions were underway months in advance and excitement levels were high. Two house churches worked together to create a clan gathering for communion with God, training for discipleship and fun fellowship.

One of the highlights for me was the baptism. 8 students publicly declared Jesus as their Hero and King! Their testimonies beforehand were moving. Their desire to be identified with Jesus and the church is exciting!

The second highlight for me was the commitment night where everybody was challenged to be crucified to the world in hopes of reaching the world for Jesus. Those who gave themselves to Jesus and His purposes symbolically hung their name tags on a wooden cross.

Praise God for all the spirit-stirring that took place during Square One! Thank God for the lifetime choices that were made.
