UP Diliman. A number of Stillwaters members fasted and prayed for a deeper walk with God as well as for the success of Stillwaters’ upcoming Square One, a 4-day retreat and training, on October 23- 27. More and more, we are being convinced of the power of prayer and fasting, which leads us also to a deeper dependence on God.

When we had a prayer and fasting day last August, a number of students joined us in fasting for the first time. They felt a sense of awe that they were able to last a whole day without food and recognized that indeed, strength comes only from God. They were amazed to experience God strengthening them. That was their highlight.

For us, they were our highlight. Indeed, it is such a privilege to witness how these young believers are taking steps into a deeper relationship with God; and it is such an amazing thing to see how God is able to draw people to Himself. It helps us reminisce the times when we, ourselves, were still young in the faith also. :-)
