“Randomly approaching strangers with a booklet… If I do it often enough, I can get people to join a Bible study. But I don’t think I can raise up leaders that way.” – house church leader
This house church leader was very bothered as he shared that sentiment with me. He deeply wanted to see his house church succeed. But he was coming to the realization that he couldn’t simply do the same things he had been doing before. He knew he had to postpone the method he had mastered and seek to truly engage with strangers.
I have to confess, I was very happy that he was bothered. 
- Now he is thinking like a leader of leaders.
- He also acted like one, taking actual steps on the same day.
- Gotta love this bonus. One student he spoke with told him that he was different from the “preachy” people that roam UP.
