Five students have given themselves to begin another house church. Last night’s meeting with the Tuesday leaders/leaders-in-training was thrilling and inspiring at the same time.
Thrilling. This will now be the second house church planted by the Tuesday group. The first one they planted is the beloved Thursday house church. Much of last night’s meeting revolved around replicating and improving upon that previous success. (By the way, Thursday is also nearing the point of planting a new church.) Can you imagine three fully-functional house churches reproducing themselves?
Inspiring. Being a leader of a house church is not easy. The demands can crucify you! And beginning a new house church has its added difficulties. But the eagerness and love in the room was supernatural. Every student there had the mind to move forward.
They will plant another house church and give more students the opportunity for spiritual family. Five of them will leave the Tuesday house church. But ironically, they separate because of unity. Here are all the Tuesday leaders/leaders-in-training, thinking of one thing: the spread of Jesus’ fame.
